I really enjoyed this book, I mean its a vampire / human lovestory, what's not to love! There were some great twists and turns with a great cliffhanger that I wasn't expecting!
The story follows Julian who is the eldest son and heir to one of the oldest vampire families and he is expected to marry, being forced to participate in the 'season', think Bridgerton but for Vampires. And in stumbles Thea, the sweet innocent human, blissfully unaware of the Vampires hiding in plain sight.
The plot was great with a good pace to it, I loved the characters and the writing style, I couldn't read it fast enough, and I can't wait to read the rest of the series, I would highly recommend.
