Books of this length are hard to criticize too much for not being expansive and elaborate with their world building because they don't have a lot of pages. I would note that this romance book did seem to lean heavily into more describing the Endless and how Trillin was feeling about Earth, her new body and the landscape more so than the romance.
It was a simple sweet read, Trillin was adorable at times with the same uncertainty of a newborn puppy. It was interesting to see how she existed as this fragment of the Endless. On the other hand Sian was more spunky and had guts, the girls had complimentary personalities.
While I can't say I completely understood the ending, it was a short and sweet read between a girl and her monster.
