4.5

First and foremost if you don’t like shifter/wolf A/B/O trope DO NOT READ you will encounter a lot of smut, rutting and knotting 🤠 this is a paranormal romance.

The Adam Driver mc strikes again even though I think Ali hazelwood set the standard for this, Noah is far superior in my eyes. This mc is more articulated and developed out which might honestly be due to the dual povs that worked really well and kept the story moving fluidly.

The story takes place in a hospital where Mack is a ER doctor and secret omega and Noah is the head cardiologist and alpha on staff, they’re both shifters who need each other to keep up a lie of their own making. When fake mating becomes more than a mutually beneficial transaction and addendums are added to the mix lines start to blur and feelings become real.

This book is smut with a plot. The characters are lovable Mack is the sunshine to Noah’s grumpy with everyone but you personality, the back stories and character development is well executed. The side characters like Moira and Parker are hilarious instigators.

I can’t wait to read about hunter in the next book in the series, gimme all the alpha men stories in this universe please and thank you.

Third act breakup, workplace romance, fake dating/mating, grumpy/sunshine trope, touch her and die trope
