What can I say? I love this series and I love everything about Beartown. Some of my favorite characters in a series in a long time, and I'd say this second book I probably enjoyed more than the first. The subject matter is tough in both books, but the balance between the town's pure love for their hockey team, and how they deal with very real, very uncomfortable situations in each book was always interesting to follow. Fredrik Backman is one of my newest favorite authors, with the Beartown series, and Man Called Ove, and at this point I'll be listening to anything he puts out. Here's hoping for another Beartown novel in the near future.
