Gods can be cruel and just plain mean. Naia’s mother and siblings are beyond that. The abuse and torture she endures is heartbreaking but she is so strong and perseveres. Even after all she’s been through she still has a good heart.
This book gripped me pretty early on and did not let go! The world built is a combination of fantasy and what feels like our real human world.
I feel like there’s something for everyone!
