Who Killed Jane Stanford?: A Gilded Age Tale of Murder, Deceit, Spirits and the Birth of a University by Richard White

dark informative sad slow-paced

3.25

My main takeaway is that Jane Stanford was a piece of work, & I extend my heartfelt sympathies to the college administrators who had to deal with her. Way too much detail about Jane meddling with the inner workings of Stanford University. This was a bit of a stretch for a book -- It would have made a perfect fine magazine article.
