While it has been a while since I've read the first two, I remembered enough to understand what was going on. I have to admit, I really enjoyed this book series. It's always great to read about a world quite different from ours, not to mention the entire series' take on healing. I enjoyed the resolution to the series as well; not too happy, but not too sad either. Some survived, some didn't, and some in between. It also comes full circle with Nya's heritage and what happened before the war. You could also really feel Nya's emotions when she thought she was going to lose.

Now that I have all three books, I think I will have to read them all through again at some point.
