Atomic Habits: An Easy & Proven Way to Build Good Habits & Break Bad Ones by James Clear

informative inspiring reflective medium-paced

5.0

I'd heard that this book was really good, so when I saw it in a used bookstore, I decided to give it a try.
I'm really glad I did!

I was worried the book might be preachy or have strategies that wouldn't help me, but I was mistaken. I found this to be an easy, enjoyable, interesting read that made me reflect on my current pattern of behaviors and how I could improve myself. I also like that I was able to implement many tactics as my reading progressed (instead of having to read the entire book first to get answers). Already I have successfully changed some bad habits into better ones (I watch waaaaay less TV, go to the gym more often, and am taking better care of my home). What's better is that so far these habits are sticking AND I'm enjoying them!

So I most heartily recommend this book to anyone who wishes to make small, but steady changes to their habits.
