I think I found a hidden gem book, because why aren't people reading this more?! Like why isn't it viral?
This is a litfic and it reminds me a bit of If We Were Villains and I LOVED that book.
The vibes of this book was just immaculate and I feel like that plays a vital role in whether I like the book or not. It was so witchy and spooky, which is not appropriate for the summer at all! But it got me out of a slump so I'm forever grateful I got to experience this book.
The story was just amazing, really showing off about female friendship and who you can and cannot trust and how the human mind works so differently for others in a magical, creepy way. It's so lyrical, but not to the point where it gets boring, it keeps you on your toes. And just the way love and friendship was portrayed in this book made it so emotional.
I loved both Felicity and Ellis, they were both so similar and honestly really cute together. I loved that this was a female based book and I don't even remember a man being mentioned ONCE in this book which is amazing!
Honestly the ending was really heartbreaking for me for some weird reason, I don't know why but my heart was aching. You know when you read a good book and your heart aches that it's over, yeah that's how I feel right now finishing this book.
I can just say that this book needs to be hyped up more and get the recognition it deserves.
Overall I give it a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and I hope everyone gets a chance to read this book.

"When I read books, the boundary between my world and others shifted. I could imagine other realities. I envisioned the tales so clearly that it was as if I lived them."
