enjoyable worldbuilding, but the August plotline felt like a complete waste of time that could have been better used developing the intrigue or Camellia’s relationship with her sisters or Remy. her gullibility in that specific instance felt uncharacteristic and unnecessary, since the tension within the court was already high enough. interested to see where the series goes from here! [content warning for some mentions of weight issues & some body horror]
