Rock Paper Scissors by Alice Feeney
5.0
Overview: Having just finished His & Hers I jumped straight into another Alice Feeney novel because I've seen this everything. I also buddy read it with @ and @ which was great fun! I was hooked from the first chapter. I loved the setting of a wintry and isolated Scotland and I really connected with the characters and setting straight away (I live in Scotland, I have a black labrador and I'm a writer myself). I loved how secretive they both were and you hear both sides of their story. Everything was building up for something and the creepiness was second to none (being shut in a basement with no lights is a fear of mine!)
Good Points: Eveything. I loved it all. It's my perfect novel and I shall be reading her other 2 books very soon. The characters were horribly perfect as in thet weren't nice people but I just loved reading about them. The story drew me in and it was difficult to keep to a certain number of pages a day! The twists I didn't see coming!
Not so Good Points: Honestly I can't think of a negative thing to say...
