I received an e-ARC of this graphic novel in exchange for an honest review from the publisher and NetGalley

Wow?? I finished up the first volume and was left a little in shock! The ending of the e-ARC was on a MAJOR cliffhanger. This story has queer, chronic illness, and POC rep which I absolutely love to see in literature. The illustrations matched the spooky vibe of the story SO SO WELL! I also am a massive enemy to lover trope fan so this was right up my alley. My only disappointment with the story was that I felt it ended so abruptly, the characters stories were unfolding little by little, and then suddenly the story ended. I really wish we would have gotten to see the characters' stories unfold and see the characters built up more before the cliffhanger. Either way, the story did leave me wanting more. I am interested to see where this story goes however because the ending was so abrupt it was tough for me to be able to really connect with the characters because I felt like I was in the dark about who they were, I really liked how there was quite a bit of frame with no dialogue but I really struggled to connect those frames with the bigger picture of who the characters were and their intentions that I was reading in the dialogue between the characters. That being said, I am still excited to see how this story unfolds
