This was an enjoyable small-town secrets mystery! I liked how it seems that the author is truly from Texas. As a born and raised Texan, there are some comments about Texas culture in this book that really made me laugh. The twists were enjoyable. I do think by the 60% mark to the end was a little bit of a holding pattern. However, I could easily see this book turning into a tv series. I will gladly read another mystery/thriller book from this author.
