The Bullet That Missed by Richard Osman
5.0

Not only do I love this series, I love that it's what can be described as a "Cozy Thriller". There aren't necessarily any big chase sequences, but there are threats and they are real threats to the characters.
I like that all the characters have their own moments to help with the mystery, some characters that haven't had a chance to shine in the past are getting to show that they're good at being detectives too, though maybe not in the same way as the rest.
It's just a really fun book, you realize a few things before they're fully shown, but that feels intentional, the thrills here are about being able to solve things along with the main characters, not in breaking the case wide open.
