3.5~ stars. A crazy tale of a cross-country road trip filled with drugs, performance art, music, occasional poetry, mystic speed-rapping and streams-of-frying-consciousness from the Beat Gen... frequently lyrical and hilarious to read. I don't have a great opinion of Kesey at the moment, but whatever, I will probably tackle Cuckoo's Nest at some point. In another dimension somewhere, there's an all-girl punk band made up of Mountain Girl, Gretchen Fetchin, Clair, and Black Maria. There's gotta be.
