Well, it’s finally happened. I have read my very first Stephen King book and all it took was two years of friendship with Mother Horror, an admiration for Nat Cassidy’s love of King, and Bernie FREAKING Wrightson for me to find my way to my own King novel that spoke to me.
Not gonna lie, I enjoyed this. And I read it all in ONE SITTING which anyone who knows me knows that is INCREDIBLY rare. But… I was that invested and I mean with artwork done by the amazing, talented, late great Bernie Wrightson at every turn how could I NOT devour this as fast as I could?
Maybe I’m beginning to get the hype.
My dad’s favorite story of his is Popsy from Nightmares & Dreamscapes so… maybe a King fan I can still be made 👀
