This is now one of my favorite books of all time! Which is a big deal! I would honestly give this book 6 stars! It was so magical and enchanting. I couldn’t stop smiling the entire time and it felt like it brought my inner child back to life. All of the mystical creatures were so amazing! I mean come on: unicorns, magical forest bears, mermaids, merhorses, cats with wings, a sentient cactus and spider plant plus so much more! It has literally everything and I loved it. They weren’t kidding when they said this book was a warm hug. I really can’t express how much I love this book. I want to start over and read it again. Speaking of reading I am obsessed with Keila!! She is so me and her and Caz’s love for books is so perfect and is exactly how I feel about books. And Caz!!! Caz!! Who knew one of my favorite characters of all time would be a spider plant! I mean seriously I love him and his backstory and his love and commitment to books and Kiela! It’s so precious! This book is just precious. Plus all the other side characters!! This whole island of people has my heart. Like can I go live there please?!
