spooky season begins in earnest! 

this was fun! it started out pretty strong, and the building sense of foreboding worked really really well.

i do wish there were more of an ensemble cast to give it that classic slasher feel -- oddly enough i missed miles and wished he'd had more impact on the plot -- but i did like the subversion of amy being both the killer and the final girl.

also, fun coincidence that i accidentally read this on the same day that it's set -- october 15th!
