Slumdog Millionaire by Vikas Swarup

The book was fine, but probably not something I would have read on my own. This was a mandatory reading for school.

The writing was, in absence of a better word, flat. The book was full of cliches. The timeline was most times hard to follow.
On the other hand, I liked the cliches, and the way the chapters told their own story made it easier to read without getting bored. Even though I had to take some time at every new chapter to figure out where in the timeline it was set, it is something that sets the book apart from all the others.
