The Viscount Who Loved Me by Julia Quinn is the 3rd book I have read this year by this author, and it is the 2nd book in the series featuring the Bridgerton family.
This novel tells the story of Anthony, the eldest of eight Bridgerton siblings, who decides that the 1814 season is the year he will find a wife and settle down following a decade of being a rake.
Edwina Sheffield is a beautiful young lady from Somerset, who along with her older step sister Kate, is making her debut this season and catches the eyes of the Viscount. He has to contend with the obstacles that Kate puts in his way as she feels that this is a most unsuitable man for her beloved sister...only for them to share a kiss instead!
I borrowed a copy of this book from Taunton Library and listened to it on cloudLibrary. I read this for prompt 31, includes a personal phobia, for the 52 Book Club Reading Challenge 2024.
