Morţile lui Quincas Berro Dágua. Bătrânii marinari by Jorge Amado
4.0
[a:Jorge Amado|52683|Jorge Amado|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1441324886p2/52683.jpg] is usually a great storyteller, and for the most part, this book confirmed it, but for some reason, I was unable to go through it as fast as I did with his other books. "The deaths..." was actually great, an endearing short story that reminded me quite a bit of Garcia Marquez's magical realism, but the second story - although not bad - did not amaze me the way his other works have.
Nevertheless, I remain a fan of his fabulous writing - with a touch a magic here and there, a lot of irony and magnificent storytelling.
