3.5 out of 5 stars: I did have high hopes for this one as her last one is tattooed on my heart. The way the plot twist along with the fantastical element. Joe was also a bit hard to like at time with how self centered and how he overlooked details. It did fall a bit flat for me.
I did love Esi's fascination with everything with 2005 and it did also filled me with nostalgia. I loved all the pop culture references although if you know the references you will see the plot twists coming. I did adore the setting and not just the setting and the place. I also adored seeing the strong male friendship between Joe and Rob. Their banter was everything as roommates. I did love the ending.
