I found this book to be kind of boring, I'm not going to lie. Skip this book of Jenny Han's and go for The Summer I Turned Pretty instead. The Netflix movie was definitely better. The only character I really liked was Peter. Laura Jean reeks of "I'm not like other girls" and is always belittling Genevieve (who isn't the nicest person) but Laura Jean hates her, not because of that, but because she "wears too much makeup" and "dresses provocatively for Halloween." All in all, I don't know if I'll continue the series because I don't know if it's worth my time.
