This book is startling. Every section is told from the perspective of a new character - though never from that of the woman whose action drive the story. You never quite get a grasp on what's real, what's a dream, why she's doing what she's doing and yet you get pulled along, following others trying to understand the same. The ending left maybe something to be desired, but the story was compelling nonetheless.
