The Climb: Tragic Ambitions on Everest by Anatoli Boukreev

5.0

as I wrote somewhere else, this guy on the Everest in 1996 carried out alone the most unbelievable high altitude rescue ever, but for the lunacy of the author of a much more famous book on the same subject ended up looking like a moron. so I suggest again: do yourself a favour, read this book and ditch the other one (anyway Krakauer got rich enough already).
