With all the hype and comparisons to Chestnut Springs, I was eager to dive into Done and Dusted. While it was advertised as slow burn, this romance went from zero to one hundred almost instantly. The writing leaned heavily on telling rather than showing, so I didn’t fully feel the emotions or chemistry until the very end. That said, I did enjoy the characters and definitely plan to continue the series... I’m especially curious about Gus and Teddy. Overall, it’s a quick, easy read with some spice and welcome ADHD representation.
