Another story set in the mysterious and wacky world of the Edge. More zany creatures, names and characters. And another tale that meanders and goes nowhere for a long time until suddenly there's a Plot and things happen.
I read this to my son, who enjoyed it and likes looking at the wonderful pictures drawn by Chris Riddell, but, I do wish these had better pacing. This is the eighth book of the series (or 2nd if you're going chronologically) and I must confess, I'm getting a bit jaded.
