what a lovely book; I am such a huge fan of how Emily Henry writes -- so sweet and intimate and open and vulnerable, like it touches all the little burned off nerve endings in my heart. I love how she writes relationships in general, like in Beach Read and People We Meet -- a lot of romance books use vulnerability and sharing grief with someone as a kind of, like, foreplay, if that makes sense? but Henry keeps it sacred, and the smexy parts don't suffer because of it. this is the first book I've stayed up past 1am to read in like four years. I love it so much.
