I love whatever Higashino writes and devour it like anything. But when he particularly writes about Detective Kaga, I inhale those books like anything. I feel the Kaga series is very different from the other series that Higashino writes. It focuses not just on the mystery and the fine details of investigation but also how crime impacts lives and the lessons of life we can take from the story. It delves into the humanity because of which or the lack of which acts as a motivation for the crime. With the Kaga series you really can't know how the story will unfold. That's what makes it reading about him such a beautiful experience. As always another gripping tale by Higashino.
