EDIT: Okay, My review sounds sort of cruel. It simply was not my cup of tea. My friend on the other hand loved it. Everyone has differing opinions.

Why did I ever read this book? I mean the title reveals it all, including: “Don’t read me. I'm shit." I really should stop picking books that Richelle Mead quotes on the front cover and states something along the lines of: “Demons , magic and sexy guys. This is a series I definitely want to keep reading.” Geez Richelle Mead how much did they pay you to say something polite about this book? I undeniably don’t want to keep reading this for sure. Sexy guys? Wait…there were sexy guys in the book? I swear I had only read about dull guys… but sexy. No. Just no. Demons and magic? So, in basic saying the author of Demon Princess has nothing new to add to the fantasy genre.
Demon princess. The title for the series, it’s just so…I can’t. It’s dreadful.
Not going to bother with a proper review. So I will just say that as I was reading this fantastic book, I acquired the skill to see into the future or maybe the book was just immensely predictable. Actually, I’ve never read a book in my life that’s this foreseeable. I figured out who was the mysterious antagonist the first time they showed up in the book. I’m unable to solve how the narrator didn’t see this though. Is she that dense?
This has to be one of the books where I play a little game called:
Let’s figure out how drunk the publishers were.
