This is quite possibly the most boring book I’ve ever read. The only reason I even finished it is because I have a 100 books bucket list poster and this is one of the books on there. It was like reading the most boring historical book you could find, but serving absolutely no purpose because it’s not even real. I thought the characters were dull and the 20 or so pages of Goldstein’s book were torturous. I get why people find it important to read, but I definitely think the Sparknotes version will get the point across and save you agonizing hours of trying to get through this book.
