the shift by Theresa Brown

5.0

A lot can happen working a 12-hour shift as an oncology nurse. Hollywood has glamorized nursing (think Grey's Anatomy) but author Theresa Brown tells it like it *really is.* No time for lunch? Too bad if you're hypoglycemic and can't think straight without food. Too many patients to give proper medical attention to your patients? Sorry, but it's an administrative decision. Told in real time, this book will either scare you or cause you to thank a nurse.
