If This Isn't Nice, What Is?: Advice for the Young by Kurt Vonnegut

5.0

I love a ramble, truly.

Kurt has such a playful, yet profound, way of speaking. I loved all of the talk about Indianapolis, joy in mundanity, and how how to make an impact on the small corner of the earth that you occupy.

There was a lot of repetition and similar themes across the speeches but all were exactly what needed to be said. Loved that the last speech was one given at Butler and one that centered around not forgetting or overlooking the Midwest.

If I had a physical copy, the entire book would be highlighted.
