It was easier for me to believe in all of the woodland monsters than it was to believe in the romance, despite my very best efforts. It was beautiful but too pure and perfect, especially considering the crazy amount of grief the main characters are going through. It was a pretty story though and I didn’t see the twist coming, which was nice.
