The Winners by Fredrik Backman
5.0

As I finish this trilogy that started with Bear Town, Us Against Them and The Winners, I’m reminded how much better my life is because of the books that I’ve read.

So many good things, hard things, and real things come out of this trilogy. Heartache, brutality, greed, grief, becoming an adult sooner than any child should, the love of a sport, the ugliness of what sports do to people, love, family, and friendship.

I feel sad that this story has come to an end, and yet so lucky to have had the opportunity to experience it.
