This book is my favorite that I’ve read so far in 2023. If you’re into fantasy reads then I cannot recommend this book enough!
We follow Amina, a pirate who has been retired from the Mariner life for 10 years. She says she’ll never go back but she’s offered a reward that she’s cannot turn down. Amina must leave her daughter behind to return to the life of a pirate.
I looooooved this book so much! Amina is an older woman who’s still quite the badass pirate. She and her former crew go on amazing, death defying adventures to save the daughter of a former crew mate. This book has everything, adventure, humor, some romance (sort of, lol), and friendship.
