So. Much. Death.

I love it.

I loved being able to meet some of the other characters in this group of teens. Even learning a whole lot more about Sarah and Ethan. In Nemesis, I just brushed off all of these side characters, not really thinking that they were very important. In here though? I actually started to grow to understand them, see what made them tick, their strengths and weakness. I just started to really enjoy them, no matter how morally grey they may be. Noah was one I grew to love even more as well. He was my favorite in the first book, but this one just certified my feelings. He is hands-down my fave. <3 Min and Tack were characters that I still feel a bit iffy about. Tack i actually enjoy for his quirkiness and sass. I mean, who doesn't love that? Min is too much of a mixed bag for me still. Sometimes I love her, other times she just outright annoys me.

The plot was so good! Phase 2 really brought out sides of characters we didn't even know they were capable of. Sides were being chosen, lines were drawn, and morals went out the window in order to ensure your revival. It was fantastic. I loved the different strategies everyone took in order to best the others. Even seeing the backlash that was to happen because of said strategies was great to read. Everyone was doing their own thing to save themselves, but they still understood that what they had to do seemed wrong. Morally grey at its finest.

Definitely recommend checking this one out if the ending to Nemesis was making you itch.
