This was good.
Anna and Marco actually, you know, got to know each other properly as they GRADUALLY fell for one another. This was refreshing because insta-love is the norm, and I’m sick of insta-love. Marco actually had a personality instead of being your run-of-the-mill one-dimensional asshole whose sole personality was being a grump. Bonus: he was sexy AND a huge nerd!!
Now I do have a couple of gripes:
1.) there was some misogyny sprinkled here and there, e.g. Marco dating ‘airheads’ before he met Anna, the slight whiff of NLOG.
2.) I don’t know why but I felt like the dialogue between Marco and Anna towards the very end seemed to be a bit clunky? This surprised me because the dialogue between them both up until that point had always been good and natural.
