A solid thriller that was an easy read and just complex enough to try and work out. There were plenty of unexpected turns and nothing felt too far fetched or unbelievable. Some books like this have so much plot armour and events conveniently happening, but that didn’t happen here.
Weirdly, I want to say that at the 3/4 mark, with the events set in Spain, the story somehow both ramped up and slowed down. That was the only instance of things happening but characters not feeling too active, which sadly slowed the pace leading into the climax.
Also! Didn’t guess who the Watcher was! Always love when that happens!!
