Small Town, Enemies to Lovers, One Night Stand

“And for the first time in a long time, I knew the man holding me tight wouldn’t let me fall.”

Winslow has had a rough few years and has moved to Quincy for two reasons. To be close to her grandfather and to take over as the police chief. On her first night in town she meets Griffin at Willie’s Bar. They hit it off and had a fun romp in the sheets with one another. Neither Griffin or Winslow thought that they would see each other again. Well a few days later they find out just how wrong they were. They both try to avoid each other until an accident occurs on his family’s land and she is the officer that shows up on the scene. She suspects that there was more to the story than what it seemed. He wanted to take it at face value. As she continues to investigate she finds herself getting closer to the truth and closer to Griffin.

Griffin and Winslow’s road to a relationship was smooth and refreshing. The two of them were made to love each other. The entire story was compelling and the plot never felt forced. If you are looking for a book where the plot and the romance work together in perfect tandem, this is it. I can’t wait to read more about The Eden Clan.
