Elise Kova just doesn’t miss. If this is really her last Married to Magic book, she’s going out with a bang. I loved it of course!
There’s lots of magic woven into this story with spirits and their bonds, and I really loved Faelyn’s bonds with the spirits, both large and small. Her friendship and dedication to Aurora was really beautiful.
And ahhhhh Evander! I loved him from the moment we met him and I loved the evolution of his and Faelyn’s relationship. Plus, we definitely got high heat and steam!! I was not expecting the reveal we got; I initially wasn’t sure how I felt about it, but I ended up loving it.
This has plenty of action, high stakes, and danger mixed with lovely quiet moments and spicy interludes. I also loved seeing Victoria and Kehvan at the end!
I’ll miss this world terribly, but that just means I’ll have to reread all these gems! Highly recommended!
Many thanks to Elise for the preview. All opinions are my own.
