I felt like I was in NYC throughout the story. It felt like another side character alongside a lovely cast of friends and family.
Mental Health and grief representation throughout - it takes time to get to the healthy coping and healing, but we get there.
I enjoyed the story and found the true friendship that developed as meaningful a part of the story as the love.I didn’t enjoy all of the Mia-steps and miscommunication at the end. It felt as though we were finally getting somewhere only for there to be two third act break-ups.
Overall, I enjoyed this book and I am now in the mood for a trip to NYC.
