This book made me want to go back to academia specifically so I could assign it for a creative writing class. It's both a great book and a book that should be read by anybody who invests a lot of their self-worth in the idea of making art. It's also a book for anybody who loves thinking about what makes video games good. Or anybody who loves thinking about the way people come in and out of each other's lives, and how we so often end up getting in our own way.
