Carson Frost isn't overjoyed with having to marry his competitor's daughter but that's the terms of a loan Carson feels he has to accept from the man when no other viable loan options are available. Great premise with an interesting twist. There is more to this story than just the idea of Carson hiring someone to stand in as a fake love interest to avoid marrying his competitor's daughter. We really get to know Carson and Ella - yes they have fantastic chemistry but they also want to learn more about each other and what each other wants in life. We also get to see how each treats others around them which further endears them to the reader (avoiding a spoiler here!). But when the time comes, does Ella's old hurts keep her from taking that final step with Carson?
