Pre-warning for this book: it opened up a lot of trauma for me, which I was expecting but it was difficult to read some parts all the same.
That being said, the romance plot was pretty good and I still found myself smiling through the latter half of the book.
I’m not sure if events *had* to go the way they did, but all in all it was a fun read.
