sienical 's review for:
Fragments of Horror
by Junji Ito
I didn't love all the stories in this collection of horror manga - for example, the first one was a bit disappointing - but after a while I did get into the right mindset. I really love Junji Ito's work, his stories are so unique.
My favourite story in this collection was "Gentle Goodbye" (about a family who prays their dead relatives' afterimages into ghosts), but I liked pretty much all of them, except maybe "Magami Nanakuse" (about a writer searching for ticks) because that one was kinda transphobic.
