- Mystery-thriller romance
- Grumpy-sunshine
- Small town romance
- LOTS of cute animals (Biscuit is the best!)
- This is a fairly dark book with a lot of mature themes. I would recommend reading the content warnings if there are topics you struggle with.
- I didn't know what I was getting into with this book in terms of how dark it was, so I don't think this is a book I would read again. I'm not great with dark topics, but by the time it wad getting dark I was already really invested and couldn't stop reading.
- Romance where the couple has a deep understanding of each other and help each other heal and are there for each other
- Amazing found family!
- Really enjoyed the romance aspect and story, just couldn't really handle the dark elements
