I read this in one go, took me about 4 hours. I enjoyed it immensly. I think, partly because it had so much of my own childhood in it. I weep for these days for I know they are lived (not gone because nothing is ever gone as long as you remember it). But they are lived and cannot be lived again.

I had a friend back then who lived on a farm. They had a pond, too. I often stayed over the weekend at their place. It was magical. This book stirred up a lot in me.

I enjoyed how it was written as well and how little things can turn into big things that affect the whole world, at least your own little world. But also others and that you will take it with you and keep it with you, even if you forget sometimes but you will remember (and forget again).
