Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson

4.0

When I was younger, Peter Pan was on of my favorite Disney movies. And since I was tall with dark hair, I was nicknamed Tiger Lily. So when someone pointed out this book to me, I couldn't get it off the shelf fast enough. I loved the idea of the story from Tiger Lily's point of view.
I wasn't disappointed. It was perfect, taking points from the real story, and the childhood movie, and twisting them into a shadowed, dangerous version of Neverland. I loved Tiger Lilys strength and silence. Her brooding, determined personality was so much more than I expected. Then the love story came along, and I was captivated by the simplicity, yet complexity of it.
It was so much more confusing and twisted, mostly thoughts and undeterminable feelings, coming from Tink's mind. It was a wonderful little trip outside reality.
