I apologize to anyone who saw me reading this book. I understand it's probably weird to see someone smiling, giggling, and kicking their feet while reading a book.

I LOVED this book. it has so many good tropes in it (second chance, enemies to lovers, forced proximity, childhood to lovers, marriage of convenience) and is executed so well. both LaRynn and Deacon were so amazing in their own manner, but together, they were so cute. the book is also dual POV, so it's so sweet when they get in like an argument or something, and you see in both their heads what they're thinking about the other person.

I thought the plot was pretty good. I kept thinking to myself, "How much money do they actually have?" because it seemed like every other page, they were talking about how broke they are. and I would've loved to see more scenes of them as teenagers, especially when they were bickering.

but all in all, I absolutely adored this book and definitely recommend it to all contemporary romance/rom-com style readers!
